Church Building in India
Alan and Eileen Vincent have sowed many years of missions work in India first departing England by ship in 1963 for what was then called Bombay (now Mumbai). In 1978 while in prayer, God showed Pastor John Babu of Sion Fellowship, a vision of Alan and Eileen Vincent and told him to submit his life to them and he would learn things that would change his life and ministry. Through a series of several supernatural events, John Babu met the Vincents three months later in Bombay fulfilling the vision from the Lord. For More History
Over the years the ministry prospered greatly with many people coming to salvation through Jesus Christ. In prayer, the Lord gave Alan Vincent and John Babu a vision for church planting with the ultimate goal of even seeing more Indians come to salvation through Jesus Christ. That vision has been implemented with functional churches being established in many cities and villages and church buildings being built.
The current progress in church planting is as follows:
Churches in Hyderabad: 11
City Churches: 234
Village Churches: 604
Associate churches: 10
Villages reached through Pioneering Ministry: 2,500
Through the preaching ministry and finance, Outpouring Ministries has continued to work toward the fulfillment of the church planting vision. The Guntur Community Church building in Guntur was dedicated by Alan Vincent on a missions trip to India on January 12, 2007.
The Sion Fellowship Church in Jedcheria was dedicated by Alan Vincent on a missions trip to India on January 14, 2008.
Church Building Project
There is a continued need for proper sanctuaries to worship. At many places people gather in makeshift arrangements or thatched huts and it becomes very difficult to have services in hostile weather conditions like heavy rainfall or in summer. We thank God for His provision in helping us to help Sion Fellowship construct church buildings. There remains a continued need to construct sanctuaries in the places where new churches have been planted.
